of all the things i never expected
Oh hi Tumblr, I really honestly have not forgotten about you. I haven’t really been in the bloggin mood! but a lot has happened, yes? Yes. Since my birthday? oh my birthday…the holidays came and went. Thankgod. Iv never been one for holidays, but sometimes family time is more needed than I think. Cumulus had their one year winter warmup event. It was rad because I’m super glad to see the EDM culture grow, sold out Agora rules. over 2,000? That works for me. However, I cannot take constant wubs for hours on end. come on boys, mix it up. Give it another solid year, wubs will be on the back burner, hello moombah? don’t think moombah will ever reach the hype of wubs but it can come close. but the event was still a good night out and worth the memories, thats why we live, right? for the memories? Thats my reasoning. okay, new years? OMG PITTSBURGH. everything said and done, our group of 6 had fun. the drive wasn’t bad, the hotel was silly, the hot tub was much needed, the walk to target was cold, the people in pittsburgh rub me the wrong way, the event was hyped up way pass what it actually turned out to be, totally misleading, but all that junk doesn’t phase me, I’m there for the music. i don’t care if i had to stand outside, i wanna feel those beats, and take me back a few years back….there were 2 rooms, a huge one, then an offside room which is where i spent my time at. hard style and hardcore. I JUST ABOUT DIED. that music gets to me <3. pitt doesn’t have the vibes that other parties do, they just seem shady. parties don’t have vibes like they use to anyways, except for kandi kid raves…must find another one soon! but new years was fun, everyone had fun despite the tiny ups and downs of finding a way to the venue and being cold -_- all that is lil stuff.
Highlight of all this : he told me to meet him at the back on the dance floor exactly at midnight at this rave in pittsburgh new years eve. hearts racing. i continue to dance to uk hardcore and hard style in the 2nd room. its 11:59 i walk around the corner to meet him, and there lay a huge heart on the floor constructed of glow stixs of multiple colors. in the center of the heart was an LED rose. my heart dropped. i sat down next to him and just was in aww. the countdown began and midnight came, along with a kiss, from my now…boyfriend <3 everything else was a blur, I was so focused on him, I could not even recall the music being played. i’ll never forget that.
